KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital

KPJ Healthcare Bhd will be building two new specialist hospitals in Sarawak in anticipation of an increase in healthcare demand and due to the state’s fast growing economy.

These hospitals are the new KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital and KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital. KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital chairman Abdul Wahab Baba said the new hospital would be built on a 1.918ha land in BDC here at an estimated cost of RM100 million.

He said it was expected to be operational in 2017 and would have 150 beds for the first phase.
