KUCHING: Lazada Malaysia customers in Sarawak and Sabah can now enjoy faster and cheaper delivery with the opening of the first warehouse and distribution hub in Demak Laut here.
Lazada’s business expansion is fuelled by the good response of online retail purchases in the state. The online retailer also wants to create a marketplace for local retailers to sell their products using Lazada as a platform.
Started in 2012, it has warehouses and distribution hubs in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong. Currently, Lazada owns 58 delivery hubs region wide.
The new two-storey facility spans 14,000 sq ft and it will be processing and delivering customers orders in Sabah and Sarawak.
