KUCHING: Bornion Properties Development Sdn. Bhd (BPD) will start its flagship project, “BOXES & BLOCKS” here soon.
The project on approximately 2.7 hectares of land is a modern integrated commercial hub cum hotel constructed from containers.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BPD, Samuel Fan revealed this at a press conference at Hilton Hotel here on Thursday night.
“The whole development concept will emphasise customer experience, needs and satisfaction. It is an awesome project with aesthetic designs and fast-paced built capacity that can ensure high construction quality to meet market requirements.”
“The development concept also focuses on creating a new entrepreneurship platform and career opportunities for youngsters as well as to transform the location into a new tourist attraction.”
BOXES & BLOCKS is located in Pending in Kuching City South. Upon completion, it will become an iconic commercial building with modern, aesthetic and luxurious designs, including a 75-room hotel with scenic river views.
The shopping segment will occupy three to four floors of the commercial building and is equipped with different business themes to suit diverse and modern lifestyles, such as Entrepreneur Cafe, Beauty Lane, 3D Cinema, Kid’s Camp, Theme Dining & Entertainment, Boutique Outlet and many more, explained Fan.
The compound of the eco-friendly commercial hub would be decorated with artistic sculptures, unique fountains and beautiful flowers to make it a conducive area for quality shopping and leisure.
LED lighting on the external walls of BOXES & BLOCKS will definitively beautify the surrounding areas and make it a wonderful hangout spot.
The dining area along the riverbank is another highlight of the project. It will be the ideal place to unwind from the busy city life and to relax with family members and friends.
Furthermore, the river cruise facilities will make it a perfect place for sightseeing and river activities, added Fan.
