Memorial site for WWII mechanics completed

KUCHING: The memorial site in honour of Sarawak mechanics who had served in World War II was recently completed.

The memorial is located at Lorong 4A7A of Tabuan Laru here.

Details and name list of the mechanics as well as quotes from world leaders were ingrained on both sides of the monument.

Ten family members of the late mechanics have visited the memorial site recently.

Members of the public are welcome to visit the monument.
